Dr Darren Ritchie
Darren is the Deputy Chief Medical Officer of Allevia Hospitals, supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality surgical care and strengthening clinical excellence and governance across the organisation. He works closely with clinical and specialist teams to continuously improve the quality of care and patient experience across all sites.
A medical practitioner with experience in clinical governance and health management, Darren has previously contributed to health leadership at both regional and national levels. He has a particular interest in clinical innovation and digital health.
Darren holds a medical degree from the University of Otago and postgraduate qualifications in digital health. He is currently pursuing Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators and completing a Master of Health Management through Monash University.
